HPIbet account holders can also earn an entry by writing a 300 word letter on 5.5”x8.5” sized paper sharing with us how much they love horse racing and including a story related to their experience with horse racing. Account holders may submit up to ten (10) letters; each letter must be original and contain a different story.

 All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules and Regulations may be disqualified by the Sponsor. The Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. The Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Promotion.

 There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won consisting of the following:

  • Round-trip airfare, based on economy class, for two (2) adults (one of whom must be the winner) from any available Canadian airport to Cayo Coco, Cuba onboard a Sunwing Airlines operated flight.
  • 7 (seven) nights standard accommodations at the Playa Coco resort based on double occupancy.

LIMITATION and RULES & REGULATIONS

  •  You accept the prize “as is” otherwise it will be forfeited
  •  Travel is valid and must be completed between November 1st, 2024 and April 30th, 2025 (the “Travel Period”).
  •  Travel is subject to availability and must be requested a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the requested departure date
  •  Blackout periods apply: December 15th, 2024 to January 3rd, 2025.
  •  If the selected entrant is unable to travel during the Travel Period, such entrant will be required to forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
  •  Once a travel reservation is made, it cannot be changed.
  •  As Sunwing Airlines does not operate year-round in many Canadian gateways, if Sunwing Airlines has stopped flying for the season out of the prize winner’s closest Canadian gateway for the requested travel dates it is the prize winner’s responsibility to make his/her way, along with his/her guest, to the next closest Canadian gateway with operating flights for the requested departure dates
  •  All reservations are subject to the terms and conditions set out on Sunwing’s website located at www.sunwing.ca
  •  Please note future travel credits and vouchers cannot be applied to promotional bookings. The only accepted form of payments are credit cards and gift cards.
  •  The winner and his/her travel guest must be in possession of a valid passport and other necessary travel documents, which documents must be valid prior to, and for the duration of the trip. Failure to obtain necessary travel documentation will result in forfeiture of the prize
  •  Any lost or stolen travel vouchers or certificates will not be replaced
  •  All airline tickets are subject to flight variations, work stoppage, and schedule or route changes
  •  Sunwing Airlines reserves the right to structure travel routes and select hotels in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight except at the sole discretion of Sunwing Airlines
  •  If the prize, or any portion thereof, is unused, it cannot be carried forward and will be forfeit
  •  Elements of the prize (including, without limitation, airfare and lodging) may not be used towards frequent flyer miles or other loyalty programs
  •  The winner and his/her guest must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to, all local laws while in destination
  •  The prize, and any portion thereof, is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash surrender value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions
  •  The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify the prize or any portion thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value for any reason


The Sponsor shall not be liable to the winner in the event that the winner is unable to accept the prize. The Sponsor shall have the right in its sole discretion to substitute, amend, reschedule and/or cancel any element of any prize and/or the Promotion and no winner shall be compensated for such substitution, amendment, re-scheduling or cancellation. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, related to the prize, including but not limited to its quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

RANDOM DRAW:

A random draw by a representative of the Sponsor from all eligible entries will be conducted within 3-5 business days of the conclusion of the Promotion Period. The draw will be made from the total pool of eligible ballots, including multiple ballots earned by a single account. There will be one (1) winner selected. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The Promotion winner will be contacted by telephone or email and must answer a time-limited skill-testing question. If the winner cannot be reached within 48 hours of being selected, fails to answer or answers the skill-testing question incorrectly, or cannot claim the prize as presented, a new winner will be drawn from the pool of ballots. This drawing process will continue until an eligible winner has been contacted and can accept the prize as presented. The Sponsor’s rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Promotion and the awarding of the prize. When contacted, the winning account holder must supply their correct account number, mailing address and telephone number to the HPIbet representative. Once these details are verified and the winner correctly answers the skill testing question and submits a Confirmation of Acceptance of Prize and Release Form, they will then receive their prize.
